LTTAP 2023 Scholarship Instructions

The Lake Travis High School Theatre Arts Parents (LTTAP) is proud to award scholarships to our graduating seniors to offer support as you pursue your next chapter, regardless of course of study. All awards are based upon a rating criterion and not upon financial need. Judges are members of LTTAP but are not parents of LTHS seniors. 

Recipient awards will be announced on May 13, 2023, at the LTHS Theatre Banquet and acknowledged on the LTTAP website, Facebook page, and Thespian group chat. 

We are excited for your journey to continue beyond LTHS and are looking forward to reading your application.

 

ELIGIBILITY

 

To be eligible for one of the scholarships offered by the LTHS Theatre Arts Program, student applicants must: 

  • Be seniors in good standing at Lake Travis High School

  • Be entering—in the next academic year—a college or some other accredited academic or trade program of study that requires tuition and/or fees. Proof of application or acceptance is required

  • Be a current theatre or technical theatre student (Senior year) and have participated in 2 or more years within the theatre or technical theatre program while attending Lake Travis High School.

    • Transfer students to Lake Travis who have been here: 

      • Three years—must have taken theatre at LTHS two out of three years; 

      • Two years—must have taken theatre at LTHS one out of two years; or

      • One year—must have taken theatre at LTHS one out of one year.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

 

Please read the application carefully and compete in its entirety. Only fully completed applications will be considered. Scholarship application requirements:

  • Application Form (google form)

  • Thespian Points/Scorecard 

  • Proof of Post-Secondary Program Acceptance 

  • Unofficial Transcript

  • Faculty, Staff or Community Member Letter of Recommendation

  • Essays (via google form or separate document)

Please complete the application via the links below and submit all required documents no later than April 23, 2023 to be considered for a scholarship up to $2,000.
